I think thatGaijin in Japanese have the meanings of just foreigner or the person who are from overseas and The Gaijin has the just neutral meanings. There are not negative nuance at all. Because it is very similar with residencial status on tax matter such as tax exemption desiding treatment.
But surprisingly I had experience hearing that there are some arguments that Gaijin has the nuance of discrimination a little in Japan .
We must agree that there are some Japanese who can not accept the person who are from overseas with ease because the 4 main Japan islands are surrounded with seas all and are not familiar with foreigner on rural area. They may have the hesitation feelings concerinig communication with other different culture.
If you feel discrimination nuance on Gaijin word treatment, Please inform me the detailed situation ! I would like to understand the situation deeply.
With the rising price of oil and life that is becoming expensive everyday can I afford to settle for an hamburger (or simply burger) this evenly sandwich that consists of a cooked patty of ground meat and served with various garnish or condiments like ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, onion, relish, pickles and cheese toppings, placed inside a sliced Hamburger bun, often baked specially for this purpose, or pieces of bread or toast?
This is a sandwich made of leftovers.
There are so many things we can do with leftovers, rather than let them sit in the fridge nurturing new varieties of mould. Take this lovely sandwich for instance. Leftover chicken kebabs were mashed and mixed with some sliced onions and stuffed between two slices of pita bread. The [...]

While not usually lunch material, they provided a nice change as pakodas are normally snack food in India. One of the most common times they’re made is when it’s raining outside. Most houses will then deep fry this delicious snack and the whole family consumes copious quantities [...]
Having visited quite a few shops and supermarkets here, I find an overwhelming focus on savings. Most if not all stores and most products have deals, super savers and what have you. It???s quite a change from India, where the MRP (Maximum Retail Price) or RRP as it???s called here, is strictly adhered to. Competitive [...]
Right, so all I’m writing about is Zainab’s food - I know.
I’ve tried cooking here and nearly always wind up with disastrous results. The problem is that when you’re not in your own kitchen, you almost never have the ‘right’ implements or spices and there are so many stuffed in various nooks and crannies of [...]
Any amount I write on taking care while choosing web hosting, isn’t enough. Even though I’ve spent 15 years in the business, I still encounter times when I simply don’t understand what the programmers were thinking when they designed that horribly complex or under-performing control panel.
Apart from the things I mentioned in my last post [...]
